Why I coach
For most of my life, I felt different. I was bullied and had a hard time making friends that valued the real me. As a result, I felt paralyzed by social anxiety and was constantly worrying about if people liked me.
Once I decided to stop pretending to be something I'm not even if it was scary, everything changed. I was able to handle disapproval, I became closer with my partner, and I uncovered a truth I'd been hiding from myself, that I'm pansexual.
Through coaching, I teach the lessons I learned to help my clients feel confident and create relationships they actually wanted to be in, not just relationships they believed they had to stay in so they wouldn't end up alone.
I'm Jessica Globe, a quirky, free-spirited coach who helps anyone who feels like they don't fit in embrace who they are, go after their dreams, and cultivate relationships that support them.
I became a coach after I accomplished my dream of becoming a published author. After the book came out, I realized I didn't want to be an author after all.
So I followed a small voice inside that told me to give back to other people with creative dreams. I volunteered to coach other creatives and discovered how meaningful it was for me and my clients. I kept coaching, got certified, and the rest is history.
How it works
The stories you tell yourself hold power over your life. Things like, "I'm too weird to fit in," and "Once they find out who I really am, they won't like me." These stories can become self-fulfilling prophecies and blind you to how things could be different.
My coaching is a compassionate process of rewiring your brain. You'll become more confident and courageous so you can speak up for yourself, set boundaries, and reveal your true self with pride.
I blend mindset, bodywork, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you understand why you undermine yourself and how to stop without layering on self-judgment.
Where to start
Book a free discovery call by clicking the link below, and filling in your name, email, and times you'd be available for a call. I'll get back to you via email to confirm a time that works for both of us.
For 30-60 minutes we'll get clear what your goals are, and I'll answer any questions you have. If I think we're a good fit, we can talk about working together. If not, I'll refer you to a coach who I think would be a better fit. I look forward to talking with you!
"Jessica has a beautiful ability to coach with confidence, clarity, curiosity, and gentleness. She leads with wisdom without agenda and reflects back supportive insights and questions. In my sessions with her, she created space for me to explore my chaotic inner self without getting lost or overwhelmed in it and helped me sort through things to arrive at a better understanding. With her support and guidance, I find myself more capable of seeing my path forward with self-awareness and compassion. Jessica will be a powerful ally in your own life journey."
"I worked with Jessica over the course of several months and her help and expertise in coaching and subconscious beliefs allowed me to finally land my dream job! Previously, I was stuck in a workplace I hated, feeling drained and frustrated. I had the goal of working with another colleague, but it seemed so out of reach. This job appeared to be just a dream, and Subconsciously I believed I wasn’t good enough for it and stayed “stuck." Through lots of uncomfortable work, analyzing my thoughts, behaviors, and beliefs, and sticking to it- I worked up the courage to ask for what I wanted… and I got it! Thanks so much, Jessica for helping me get through a tumultuous time, equipping me with tools to help work through difficult emotions and patterns I didn’t know existed. I wouldn’t be where I am today if I hadn’t worked with Jessica!"
Warning, coaching may cause...
Radical self-love, expanded comfort zone, intolerance of inauthenticity, Freudian slips, inner peace, self-acceptance, improved moods, better communication skills, stronger relationships, uncontrollable laughter, aha moments, tears of joy, confidence, serendipitous encounters, etc.
A few fun facts about me...
My favorite coaching tool to use on myself is the metaphor tool. It taps into my subconscious mind and uses my creativity to solve the problem. Works like a charm!
I’m the Amazon bestselling author of Connect with Animals: Stop the Fur from Flying and Have a Rewarding Relationship. As you might guess from the title, I LOVE animals.
My favorite drag queens from RuPaul's Drag Race are Kameron Michaels because I'm also a creative introvert and Jinkx Monsoon because she's so funny and unapologetically weird.
